FAIRTRADE AT ST DEVENICK'S

Fairtrade products ensure that producers get a fair return for their work. The prices for eg coffee and cocoa beans are often guaranteed above the world minimum price. The extra income generated is put back into the community, paying for things like basic childhood education, health care, adult literacy courses and access to clean water.
St.Devenick's has been supporting fair trade for over 5 years. We have just recently been awarded the Fairtrade status and are officially a Fairtrade church please have a look at our certificate here.
We now have a stall every week in the church office during coffee time after the main morning service, where a wide range of fairly traded food and craft items can be purchased, and the latest Traidcraft catalogue is available to place orders for items not stocked. Christmas Cards and gifts are now in!
