Music in Worship
Meeting God in worship is at the heart of our relationship with Him, both personally and as a church, and music is a vibrant part of the life of St Devenick’s. Our desire is to be led deeper in our worship and therefore to know more of God in our lives and to bless Him with what we are offering. It is our intention to
Girls' Choir introduce new songs into our worship while keeping firm hold of great music from the Church down the ages, using the organ and the keyboard. Other instrumentalists also play in Sunday services, as well as a small choir who are finding that increasingly their role is to introduce and lead new songs. An all age band leads the worship on the first Sunday of the month and are sometimes joined by a girls singing group.
