The organ was built in 1910 by Messrs Wadsworth and Brother.  It was considered to  be "the best specimen of a small organ that the firm had ever placed in Aberdeen."  It was fully overhauled and a new swell pedal was added in the late 1980s.

Now we also use a digital piano and, for some services, we have a band with about 15 instrumentalists. A group of 20 Singers also contributes to our worship on occasions. New worshippers who are also musicians are always welcome in St Devenick's.
